Chef de Partie

HASHIR FOOD & RESTURANTS LIMITED is hiring for a full-time Chef de Partie with a minimum of 2 years of experience to prepare mainly Oriental curry dishes for their restaurant located in Athlone.

An interview is mandatory and can be conducted in person or via Zoom.

Any formal cooking-related qualification will be considered an advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook high-quality curry dishes.
  • Follow authentic recipes, quality standards, presentation guidelines, and the food preparation checklist.
  • Portion, chop, and store ingredients for cooking.
  • Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables.
  • Test foods to ensure they are cooked properly.
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and cooking equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain the correct temperatures for both appliances and food.
  • Assist the Head Chef by following instructions.
  • Adhere to all company policies, including Health & Safety protocols.
  • Comply with all HACCP legislation and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Execute set-up and close-down procedures efficiently.
  • Control costs by minimising waste.
  • Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
  • Complete all required safety training and certifications provided by the company and applicable laws.

Job Details

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary:

  • From €36,700 gross per annum, depending on experience.
  • From €18.10 gross per hour, depending on experience.

Working Hours:
Minimum 39 hours per week with a maximum 8-hour shift.

Education

Formal 10 years of education (Preferred but not necessary).

Experience

  • Chef: Minimum 2 years of experience required.
  • HACCP: Not necessary, as all training and certification will be provided upon commencement of employment.

English (Preferred).

Work Authorisation

Applicants must be eligible or hold valid permission to work in Ireland.
