Role Overview
We are hiring an Entry-Level Software Developer (AI & Automation) to contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of automation tools and AI-powered software solutions.
This role is ideal for a candidate with strong foundations in programming, machine learning, and modern software engineering practices, along with a genuine interest in emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python-based applications, automation scripts, and backend components.
- Assist in building and implementing machine learning models using TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-Learn.
- Support web development and web hosting projects.
- Contribute to secure software development, API integration, and system optimisation.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to help market and promote software products developed by the company.
- Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with the engineering team to develop reliable and scalable software solutions.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python and at least one of the following:
- Java
- C++
- SQL
- Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and concepts.
- Experience is not essential; however, exposure to Bash scripting, Linux environments, and basic networking concepts will be advantageous.
- Understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software development principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A willingness to learn new technologies and continuously develop technical skills.
Desirable Skills
The following skills would be advantageous:
- Familiarity with automation tools.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms.
- Exposure to Natural Language Processing (NLP).
- Understanding of computer vision or deep learning.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices.
- Experience with API development and integration.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- Strong ambition and willingness to develop towards a technical leadership role.
